Congratulations to our second Employee of the Month winner for March, Shannon Gower!
Shannon has shown tremendous growth whilst working at The Contact Company having overcome challenges to become a dependable and reliable member of the team. This month, in particular, Shannon has stepped out of her comfort zone, speaking to a new client to discuss processes and how TCC operates – this is something Shannon would usually shy away from. Here’s what her colleagues had to say:
“As part of her current role, Shannon has been supporting a new client on a few aspects of their campaign. Shannon was enthusiastic and happy to help, providing breakdowns, answering all their questions, and supporting them with the training. Shannon gave a fantastic representation of herself, our campaign and TCC. Shannon has also worked alongside TLs to manage the peak period, going above and beyond to help ensure that our in-office and home workers were supported exceptionally quickly. Shannon has the confidence to work with the team to give correct advice and keep advisors up to speed with any changes transparently.”
Further to her nomination, her colleagues say: “Shannon has worked over the years to push herself into situations that she will typically avoid. She does not like to talk to strangers, but talking to a client in a group is something she would have never done in the past – this was a massive self-win for Shannon!”
The judging panel were impressed by what they heard about Shannon going on to add: “I think Shannon is an excellent example of someone who not only puts the work in for their development but is happy to get involved with additional tasks and challenges in the interest of the business and their campaign too. The business’s success relies on people from all levels like this, and it is great to see Shannon be recognised.”
Shannon’s line manager was delighted to hear that she had won, saying: “Shannon has been an instant hit with everyone, Agents and Clients alike. Shannon is a beacon of positivity, which rubs off on everyone around her; it’s impossible to be upset or grumpy in her presence. Shannon has thrived in this environment to become the CME and a leader of the Back Office. Shannon has a bounty of knowledge with Agents, Team Leaders and even the client leaning on her for support. Shannon is a dream to work with, and I could not think of anyone better to win Employee of The Month!”
