Congratulations to our Employee of the Month for November 2021, Phil Ives!
Phil is the Communications Executive at The Contact Company and has been awarded Employee of the Month for embodying our values of trust, courtesy, and communication.
Phil is a “vital part of the operation” who is committed to his role and to the wider business. Phil’s commitment has been admirable and has not gone unnoticed by his colleagues who had this to say:
“Phil is competent, reliable and a great team player. Phil displays courtesy in every interaction; he will go out of his way to help anyone and has often gone above and beyond when I have asked him to help our department. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him, and I just feel like he sees the bigger picture. There have been times when I’ve worried that I am asking too much of him. Knowing that he has a high workload, I am always hesitant to ask him to create something, but he never says no. He will let me know realistic timescales if he is busy, but he will always deliver what I need. He never pushes back or queries why I want it. He bends over backwards to support our department and for that reason, we all have a lot of time and respect for him. It also helps that he is just a lovely friendly person too!
Phil’s line manager was pleased that he was the winner and went on to say:
“Phil is a real asset to The Contact Company; he strives to ensure that the values of the business are at the forefront of all of his interactions with people. He will often go over and above to support people across all departments. His passion for our business comes through in all his work and he isn’t afraid to challenge to drive the right outcomes. His drive to improve our engagement both internally and externally is a real pleasure to see and to be a part of.”
In a month of strong nominations, Phil’s stood out and was a deserving winner. Congratulations Phil and thank you for all that you do.
