The Contact Company has partnered with 3D Training to provide all of its line managers with mental health training…
The Contact Company are pleased to be working in partnership with 3D Training to deliver a Level 2 Certificate in ‘Mental Health First Aid and Advocacy in the Workplace’ to all managers, to better assist and support colleagues requiring support with their mental health, underpinning its commitment to mental health and wellbeing.
Since 2019, The Contact Company has been accredited to the Workplace Wellbeing Charter, and with the Mental Health First Aid course The Contact Company further cements its commitment to supporting both the mental and physical health and wellbeing of all of its colleagues.
The course is tailored towards developing an understanding of a range of mental health conditions and the principles of mental health first aid, and how this can be implemented in the workplace.
3D Training’s Director Rachael Davies commented: “3D Training are delighted to be working in partnership with The Contact Company to train and develop their managers in order to take a company-wide approach on how to promote a mentally healthy workforce, and ultimately to support individuals who may be suffering in silence. Now more than ever we need to work together to support people to sign-post, recognise, and raise awareness of mental health in our workplaces.”
The Contact Company’s project lead, Operational HR Manager Jayne Ross, commented: “Across the past three years, The Contact Company has invested more than ever in the health and wellbeing of its colleagues. It’s so important in today’s society that we recognise that mental illness is as real as any physical illness. Our aim with this training is to provide our managers with the confidence, skills and knowledge they need to not only support their team members but also their peers, their family and friends, and themselves.”
