Category: News

The Contact Company has seen turnover exceed £40 million, a 50% increase in 5 years, ahead of its 15th anniversary.

Back in 2015, The Contact Company CEO Asif Hamid MBE pledged to double company turnover from £20 million to £40 million in 5 years, continuing to generate jobs and support the local economy. Since then, sales have soared as a growing number of businesses switch back to onshore customer service to meet customer demand and expectation, with a strong emphasis on friendly, professional Customer Service Advisors, and the customer experience.

The Contact Company currently has over 25 clients, operating in a number of industry sectors, from the likes of financial services through to telecoms and retail, and currently employs in excess of 2000 people.

Over the past 5 years the company has secured additional data security and compliance accreditations, such as ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials Plus, as well as investing in its home working capability throughout the pandemic.

The Contact Company’s Head of Solutions, Dave Rodaway: “Our growth is attributed to the successful onboarding of a number of new partners alongside the continued delivery of our long standing partners, who are drawn to The Contact Company by a mixture of our passion to support our people to deliver the best customer services, and the solutions that we offer. It is a testament to the hard work of our customer-facing colleagues that this growth has continued year on year. TCC is passionate about ensuring the best in customer services to our partners, and the people at the forefront of this bring it to life on a daily basis for the customers we support.”

CEO & founder Asif Hamid MBE commented further: “The past 12 months have been incredibly challenging for all in the business community, but as one, big team we have really risen to the challenge to continue providing a fantastic service and to attract more clients to the area, investing in in-house safety and social distancing processes and working from home infrastructure to bring blue chip names to the city region. We have much to look forward to as a team- we’re looking at new sites, we’re looking at additional facilities, and we plan to continue to grow with a strong focus on the physical and mental wellbeing of all of our colleagues to continue making The Contact Company a fantastic place for people to work”.
