Ammaarah Sidat is a Customer Service Advisor on a busy retail campaign; who, in her spare time, has been doing some fantastic work running the Liverpool arm of the charity, Street Angels.
Ammaarah and her siblings support the charity in its quest to offer support to members of the local community by providing essential items such as food, drink, toiletries, clothing and haircuts to the vulnerable and homeless people in the local area.
At a recent event, Street Angels UK (Liverpool) partnered with Wetherspoons’ ‘The Game’ to help distribute food for Liverpool’s homeless community; Wetherspoons set-up a table and asked people on social media to donate by sharing the table number.
Within two hours a phenomenal £6,000-worth of food had been distributed to around 400 of those most in need in the city by Ammaarah and her fellow volunteers, and was featured in local and regional news.
Well done to all involved in this amazing achievement- you’re a credit to the community!
