The Contact Company Raises Festive Funds for Wirral Charities

Category: News

This recent season of goodwill, The Contact Company employees raised funds for local charities with their festive activities…

The Contact Company played host to its second Christmas Market, with a number of employees and local tradespeople selling their wares.

At both of The Contact Company’s christmas markets, across both sites, collection boxes were placed around the event to raise money for Wirral Foodbank.

Employees were also able to send “Reindeer Noses” to colleagues around the business for a small fee, with all proceeds also going to Wirral Foodbank.

In total, employees raised £400 for the charity. After having supported the charity across the year through additional drives, this takes the annual support for Wirral Foodbank from The Contact Company employees to upwards of £600.

During the festive period, some employees also organised a shoe box collection for Wirral Homeless CIC. Thoughtful colleagues filled 35 boxes in total, containing approximately £1000-worth of items.

CEO, Asif Hamid MBE: “The generosity of our employees is second-to-none and something The Contact Company prides itself on. Our people are always willing to go above and beyond to do their bit for the local community and we look forward to continuing to do so in to the future”.
