Last Friday, The Contact Company had the pleasure of supporting the Red Nose Day donation lines for the third time in the company’s thirteen year history.
Over the course of the evening there was plenty of fun and laughter; with games to played, prizes to be won, food to be eaten and- most importantly- fantastic donations to be taken by over 150 wonderful volunteers! Screens were in place for volunteers to watch the Comic Relief action unfold throughout the evening.
The Contact Company’s Head of Client Services, Catherine Miles: “It was fantastic to host and support so many people who volunteered their time selflessly to such a worthy cause- it’s amazing to have supported our third Red Nose Day event and to have contributed to an incredible night of fun and fund-raising. It absolutely restores your faith in human love and kindness.”
Over the course of the evening, our volunteers consumed hundreds of snacks and over 50 pizzas! At the end of the night, all left over food was taken to local homeless charity, Hope for the Hungry.
A big thank you goes to all of the fantastic businesses who were kind enough to support and donate prizes on the night for our volunteers:
AJ Motors & Son
EastZEast Liverpool
Excell Group
HRGO Liverpool
Inchcape Mercedes-Benz
IPNetix
John Lewis and Partners
Recruit Right
Search Consultancy
Most importantly, a big thank you goes to all of the volunteers who gave up their time to support this worthy cause and make the evening a huge success! Over the course of the evening The Contact Company took in excess of 2000 donation calls for Comic Relief.
The Contact Company’s Head of Resource Planning, Dave Rodaway: “The team spirit in the pre-planning, through the night and afterwards was great to experience and we’re delighted to be able to help with the energy, time and enthusiasm that everyone gave so willingly. A huge thank you to all of our partners who provided prizes, support and help across the event. It was amazing and something we’ll certainly look to repeat in the future!”
